Ooh this is a favorite! Everytime i go to Olive Garden this is what i order- i am obsessed and will never stop loving it! The rich creamy sauce with the garlic flavor- ah! BLISS!!
My brother in law came to visit for the weekend so i thought this would be a perfect tummy filler for him :) Starting the weekend off right ;)
INGREDIENTS:
-1 Box Angel Hair Pasta
-16oz Heavy Cream (you can use milk to be healthier- just add flour to thicken)
-2 Garlic Cloves
-1 Cup Grated Cheese
-3 Tblsp Sour Cream
-2 Tblsp Cream Cheese
-4 Cups Parmesan (you may want to add a little bit more)
-Garlic Salt, Seasoning Salt, Chives, black pepper
*as you can see this recipe has a ton of garlic in it- i am a garlic lover*
Instructions:
-Boil water and cook pasta, then drain
-Finely chop garlic cloves and saute in pan with a bit of butter
-In another pot, heat heavy cream, cream cheese, sour cream and spices
-Add garlic/butter to the pot with the cream (i usually sprinkle a little flour in it to thicken the sauce)
-Stir in the grated cheese and parmesan, stirring occasionally- dont leave it or it will stick to the pot and get clumpy
-Then add to pasta, mix up good, garnish with chives and serve with crispy chicken strips
*I usually do this recipe with a cajun style shrimp which adds a nice kick and tastes oh so good in the sauce*
